Workshops:
Conflict in the Workplace – Use It or Lose It! Genevieve Taylor has been invited to present
at the Sonoma County Volunteer Center a one-day workshop on conflict. Come be a part of a
provocative, interactive workshop, where you will learn skills that will directly improve
your ability to manage and resolve conflict at work and at home.
This workshop is intended for non-profit and government agency managers and staff.
Workshop Date: Friday, November 7 – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Fee: $75 for members, $100 for non-members

Social Entrepreneurship: A Roundtable Discussion with Local Experts
Genevieve Taylor has been invited to participate in a dialogue on Social Entrepreneurship.
A social entrepreneur is someone who recognizes a social problem and uses entrepreneurial
principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change. These ventures
often bridge the non-profit and for-profit worlds, through strategic partnerships, innovative
business practices, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Date: Wednesday, October 29 – 9:00-11:00 am
Fee: Free! For Volunteer Center Members Only.

Other Updates:
Terry Taylor is traveling, coaching, and otherwise developing leaders and organizations for
the next several months. Back from a 3 months work trek to Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong,
the UK, and Germany, he will be heading to Mexico City, and Qatar in the Middle East in late
October/early November. And of course, both Genevieve and Terry are delighted to be working
with our clients closer to home in Sonoma County, the Bay Area, and Los Angeles, CA.
